Theory and in-class practucum 1- Operating Systems Overview 2- Process management 3- Memory management 4- File sub-system 5- I/O sub-system 6- Security 7- Advanced Concepts in Operating Systems
Laboratory practicum 1- Use of commands and Operating system tools to work with the main operating system subsistems: process, memory, file and I/O 2- Use of the system call libraries for win32 and Linux 3- Design and implementation of programs, using C languaje, in order to simulate or implement any of the operating system functionality
