Goals:
To provide the basic knowledge of the pollutans generated in our activities and their environmetal impacts. To present the different techniques for the prevention and correction of pollution. To present the necessary instruments for correct environmental management in both the public and private sector.
Content:
Environment and sustainable development. Fundamentals of Air pollution. Transport and dispersion of air pollutans. Engineering control of air pollution. Water pollution. Disposal and dispersion of liquid effluents. Urban and industrial wastewater treatment. Reuse of treated wasterwater. Waste: types and characteristics. Treatment, valorization and disposal of waste. Environmental management. Environmental management systems. Eco-auditing. Lyfe cycle assessment. Environmental impact assessment. Integrated environmental authorization.
